Conscious Investment Management invests in organisations and assets that create positive social and/or environmental impact.
Our model is to partner with not-for-profit and ‘profit for purpose’ organisations, whereby we provide the funding for assets or programs, that they can then manage to further their mission. We call these groups our “Impact Partners”.
Our Impact Partners are values aligned organisations with operating experience and a frontline understanding of the needs of the end beneficiaries we aim to support.
We are primarily focussed on investing in Australia and New Zealand.

Distributed solar
We partner with organisations who play a meaningful role in driving emissions reduction for our planet and communities. This typically involves providing project financing for the acquisition, construction and/or operating of sustainability assets. For example, we are a large financier of distributed rooftop solar.

Social and affordable housing
We partner with a range of organisations seeking finance to build or acquire social and affordable housing stock, including:
- Not-for-profit community housing providers and associations
- Property developers with a social mission
- For profits delivering new housing models
In 2021, we were awarded the PowerHousing Australia Business Partner Award for an innovative partnership with community housing provider, HousingFirst, to deliver over 300 social and affordable housing dwellings across Melbourne.

Social impact bond and payment by results contracts
We support high impact programs through partnering with intermediaries, government and service providers to fund social impact bond and other payment by outcomes structures.
